Volunteer Opportunities

Do you love Chautauqua? Do you have a passion for the arts or education? Are you interested in sharing this special place with others? We need YOU! There are many opportunities to participate in volunteer activities with the Foundation, and to support Chautauqua’s mission through active engagement.

Please consider serving as a volunteer for the Chautauqua Fund.

The Chautauqua Fund is the annual fundraising effort which breathes life and vibrancy into the Institution and provides for its programming and scholarships. As a volunteer, you are richly rewarded in the knowledge that your efforts are making an impact on nurturing families and educating community. You can rest assured that your time and energy in raising funds to steward Chautauqua will be appreciated for many, many years by your children, grandchildren and future generations.

Are you approximately 21-40 years of age?

Consider joining the NOW Generation and engage with a passionate network of young Chautauquans to foster innovative leadership, dialogue and philanthropy. There are many ways to contribute, including sharing your unique talents or skills.

The Foundation's Board of Directors is made up of dedicated volunteers who participate in and oversee the work of eight committees. To learn more about the Board of Directors and Development Council, click here.
